Winding through the state from top to bottom is the Tennessee River which was dammed up to form the beautiful Kentucky lake. Great fishing and boating recreation abound, especially in the northern area around Land Between the Lakes, a federally protected area home to bald eagles, deer, elk, buffalo, and other wildlife.
Down south is the city of Memphis. Millions of visitors flock
here each year to visit Elvis Presley's "Graceland". Home of rhythm and
blues and early rock & roll, Memphis boasts legendary blues greats
BB King and John Coltrane, to name just a few. And Beale Street is the
place to be to enjoy Southern cooked ribs and blues music, all at the same
time!
